Summary
Mr. Albosta is a Senior Advisor to the President of
Delta Power, LLC in addition to undertaking various
senior level assignments for Delta Power, LLC and
its subsidiaries, as directed by the President. Mr.
Albosta has over 35 years of experience in the
energy, engineering, environmental and construction
business. He has held a variety of senior level
management positions during this time in the
businesses mentioned, including presiding as CEO of
two large companies, one of which was Ebasco
Services, Inc. (Ebasco) which was consistently
ranked in the top three Engineering & Construction
Companies during the 1980's and 1990's, with sales
in excess of $1.2 billion. He has also performed a
number of high level consulting assignments in
recent years with leading companies engaged in the
heavy engineering, construction, and environmental
fields. Mr. Albosta has also been active as a member
of the Board of Directors of several companies,
including the Columbia Energy Group, and ConneXt
Inc.
Experience
Mr. Albosta began his career in the energy,
industrial, process, and infrastructure field in the
1970's with Litton Industries and the Engineering
and Construction Group of Boise Cascade Corporation
rising to senior level positions in finance,
administration and operations, including the
management of several businesses. He spent nearly 25
years with Ebasco, which was founded in 1905 and
known for its long standing power business, rising
from CFO to Chief Executive Officer. During this
period, after assuming an operating position at
Ebasco, he changed the profile of the company over a
period of years to embrace a diversified market
portfolio of businesses in the engineering,
consulting, environmental, and construction
businesses. Ebasco, during his tenure as CEO, was
one of the first companies to embrace the
independent power market and develop competitive
skills to embrace the new methods of planning and
building power facilites with third party financing.
During his tenure as CEO with Ebasco beginning in
1985, until the sale of Ebasco to Raytheon in 1994,
the market value of Ebasco was increased by a factor
of five. He has continued to perform high level
consulting assignments since the mid 1990's with
leading companies in the energy and environmental
markets.
Mr. Albosta holds a BS degree from the University of
Pittsburgh in Business Administration and also holds
an Executive MBA degree from the Wharton School of
Business. He is a registered CPA in the state of
Pennsylvania. |
